Pool Rules
The following rules and regulations are for the protection and benefit of all members. The club manager and lifeguards are authorized to require those violating any rules or regulations to leave the premises.
Any failure to comply with these rules shall be considered sufficient cause for immediate suspension of all pool privileges of the offender for a period of one to seven days, and repeated violations can also be considered sufficient cause for termination of club membership.

Members are responsible for reviewing the rules each season and ensuring that all members of their household understand them. Members are responsible for sharing the rules with their guests.

Rules and regulations will be posted on the bulletin board on pool property and on the website. Posting on the bulletin board of rule changes will be sufficient notice to all members.
All persons using the pool do so at their own risk. The club is not responsible for accident, injury or death in connection with such use.

Dues, late fees and assessments must be paid each season prior to using the facilities of the club. They are non-refundable and any unpaid monies will be deducted upon subsequent sale of membership certificate.
GENERAL

Everyone that enters the pool gate will be required to sign a liability waiver each season upon their first visit. Members who would like to bring a minor child guest will need to plan ahead to ensure that the parent or guardian of the minor guest sends a signed waiver with their child. Liability waivers are available on the website and via QR code in the front office.

Parents are responsible for their own well being and the well being of their children, both at the pool facility and in the water. Lifeguards are not intended to be the only layer of safety enhancement and accident prevention at our pool.

Children ages 10-12 MUST pass a Lifeguard Supervised Swim Test in order to be left unattended. Children age 13 through 17 may also be required to pass a swim test if the pool staff feels it necessary before they are allowed to be left unsupervised. ï‚· Minors dropped off at the pool may not leave the gated pool area except to go home or to play volleyball. Pool personnel are not responsible for the whereabouts of members and guests. ï‚· Children under age 10 cannot be left unattended at the pool and must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

A member may pay a babysitter fee of $75 to the pool to register a specifically named person over the age of 14 as a babysitter for their children. The babysitter may not use the pool unless they are attending with their sponsor family OR another member family utilizing a guest pass. Designated babysitter may supervise children with or without parents present.

No loitering or playing around in the bathrooms or showers is permitted.

There shall be no running, pushing, wrestling or causing undue disturbance or hazard in or around the pool area.

The lifeguards, at their discretion, shall decide what action constitutes a disturbance or hazard. Obey the lifeguards! ï‚·

Proper swimming attire must be worn in the pool. All swim trunks must be hemmed.

Only recreational toys designed for pool use may be used. Floats and small tubes are allowed in the pool. No Styrofoam floats allowed. No large water guns are allowed. No balls are allowed. The determination of specific toys and floats that are allowed is at the discretion of the pool manager and the lifeguards. Members should remove toys and floats from the pool when no longer in use.

Consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted on club property. Intoxicated persons are not permitted on club property. ï‚· Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited on club property.

ï‚· Use of any type of tobacco, e-cigarette or vaping product is not permitted by anyone under the age of 18. Those over 18 may only smoke outside of the fenced pool area.

ï‚· No food, gum, candy or drinks are allowed in the pool.

ï‚· Lap swimming is permitted in designated lanes marked by lane ropes. All other swimmers should stay out of the lap lanes when they are being used for lap swimming.

HEALTH

Members and guests are asked to not come to the pool if experiencing symptoms of any illness. ï‚· During the COVID pandemic face masks are requested to be worn in the restrooms.

All members and guests are requested to take a cleansing shower prior to entering the pool.

Any persons with cuts, blisters, or any open wounds should refrain from using the pool until healed.

Swim diapers are required to be worn by any child that is not fully potty trained. If a parent or guardian does not have this type of diaper, they will be required to purchase one from the concession stand prior to the child entering the pools.

Spitting, spouting, blowing water, blowing your nose, urinating, etc. in the pool is prohibited.

Proper public behavior is expected at all times.

All injuries should be reported immediately to any lifeguard on duty.

ï‚· No glass or breakable objects of any kind shall be permitted inside the pool fence.
BABY POOL
-
The baby pool is for children 5 years old and younger.
-
Children in the baby pool enclosure must be supervised at all times by an adult or babysitter (age 13+), as lifeguards are not be stationed at the baby pool.

Children cannot be left unattended in the baby pool enclosure under any circumstance.

ï‚· The baby pool is not to be used as a play area during pool breaks for older children.
DIVING BOARD

Swimmers in the diving area must yield to those wanting to use the diving board.

ï‚· Only one person is allowed on the diving board at a time.

Double bouncing, hanging or climbing on the end of the diving board is not permitted.

Divers should enter the water straight off the board, not to the sides, and then swim to the side immediately so the next diver can go. Do not linger in the water in front of the board.

ï‚· Divers should ensure the dive area is clear before going off the diving board.

ï‚· Swimmers must be able to swim unassisted to the side of the pool in order to use the diving board. ï‚· No floatation devices of any kind are allowed in the diving board area.
LIFEGUARDS

Lifeguards shall be on duty during the open hours and shall be at their stations.

ï‚· Members should refrain from distracting the lifeguards and follow their instructions at all times.

Only authorized personnel are permitted on the lifeguard stands.

All Lifeguards will wear swimsuit with the Lifeguard logo.
WEATHER AND POOL BREAKS

The swimming pool, baby pool, pool deck, and shower rooms will be cleared for AT LEAST 30 minutes following audible thunder or visible lightning, following the Red Cross safety standards.

All members and guests should take shelter indoors or in a hard-top vehicle. Partially enclosed structures, such as picnic shelters, do not provide adequate protection from a lightning strike. Since the pool does not have adequate indoor space, members must leave the premises and wait the storm out either in a hard-top vehicle, their home or other safe indoor location of their choosing. They may not remain within the pool fence or outside of the gate unless in a hard-top vehicle.

The pool must be cleared any time the lifeguard on duty can no longer see beneath the surface due to heavy rainfall.

A 15 minute pool break (adult swim) shall be called every hour on the 3/4 hour provided there are 20 or more children in the pool or 30 adults and/or children in the pool. In conditions of extreme heat, this schedule may be altered for the safety of the lifeguards and pool.
FACILITY USE AND CARE

The pool will be closed when necessary for maintenance, also at the discretion of the pool manager during inclement weather.

Monday through Friday, a portion of the pool may be reserved for swim lessons and swim team.

On special occasions, the pool may be closed to the membership. Advance notice will be posted on the bulletin board.

ï‚· The picnic tables under the shelter are for eating or taking a break from the sun. So that they remain available for everyone to use as needed, please do not use them to store your belongings for your visit.

ï‚· All trash should be placed in a trash receptacle. ï‚· No pets are permitted inside the pool area.

ï‚· Only pool employees and board members are allowed in the pool office, storage room, concession room.

No one is permitted in the pump room under any circumstances except authorized personnel and persons specifically authorized by the pool manager.

Any damages to the pool property are the responsibility of the offender, and if the offender is a minor, then of his or her legal guardian.

ï‚· Pool personnel shall have pool privileges at all times during the pool season of which they are employed.

The club will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal property of any member or guest.

The pool is not responsible for articles left on the premises. Lost and found articles will be donated or discarded on a weekly basis.
