Pool Rules and Reminders
Please take a moment to review all POOL RULES and BYLAWS prior to the 2026 season!
A few important reminders:
-
The posted rules & bylaws cannot cover every situation that may be encountered during a swim season. In every situation, the lifeguards are to be obeyed. Members with questions about rules or bylaws are welcome to reach out to the pool board.
-
The main pool, kiddie pool, pool deck, and shower rooms will be cleared for AT LEAST 30 MINUTES following audible thunder or visible lightning. Per Red Cross safety standards, pool members and guests should take shelter indoors or in a hard-top vehicle during such times. Guests may NOT remain under the pool shelter
-
Arcadia Swim Club has a strict no-alcohol policy. When the Hartman family donated the land for the pool, it was done with the stipulation that this would remain an alcohol-free facility. If a member is observed in violation of this policy, this can lead to penalties up to revocation of their membership.
-
Children ages 10-12 must pass a swim test to be left at the pool unattended. Children under age 10 must always be accompanied by an adult.
Please notify the pool board in writing if you wish to sell your pool membership. You should attach your pool stock certificate to the request for sale and postmark it or drop it in the secure pool mailbox by May 1. If the request to sell is not received by May 1, you will not receive money from the sale of your stock certificate. Any memberships with unpaid dues/assessments on May 2 will be billed a late fee of $50 and will not have use of the pool until paid in full. If dues/assessments/late fees are not paid by May 15, memberships will be sold according to Arcadia Swim Club bylaws.
