Arcadia Swim Club Membership Update 6/3/24

 

 

 

Hello Arcadia Swim Club Members, as promised, we are providing another brief update on the status of the pool’s opening processes. Glad to report positive things have been happening and we are close!  The water has continued to improve and balance since we last communicated and we are hopeful the next update will be our final one.

Arcadia Swim Club Membership Update 6/2/24

Good evening, we wanted to provide a brief update on the status of the pool. The pumps have been repaired and have been circulating over the weekend to clear the water and balance the chemicals.

Unfortunately, because it has been overcast today and raining on and off this has taken a bit longer than it otherwise would. We are very close to being open. We expect that to be in the very near future, but we will be able to confirm tomorrow evening after the pumps have had longer to run and the weather has warmed up.

We have tried to give definitive answers all along the way, which has necessitated multiple updates as things have changed. Our intent has always been to get the pool open as quickly as possible, and many people have been working hard to make that happen.

Unfortunately, there are always things outside of our control, and we probably should not have given definitive deadlines given that reality. We apologize for that, and we continue to appreciate everyone’s patience and support. Another update will be sent Monday evening.

Arcadia Swim Club Membership Update 5/30/2024

 

Dear Pool Members,

We want to thank you again for your patience as we work to resolve the mechanical issues with the pool pumps. Unfortunately we have to push our open date from this Saturday to Monday, June 3 at 4pm.

We assure you that we (and especially our children) share your disappointment over the start to this season. Many people have put in a lot of hours to have the pool ready to go, and the timing of this has been very unfortunate and frustrating for us all.

However, there is good news to come! In addition to remaining open for two additional weekends in September past Labor Day, we will begin our normal pool hours almost a week early. Effective Tuesday, June 4 we will be open at 10am every day except Sunday!

Lastly, be sure to make plans for your kids ages 13-18 to attend our first summer event of the season:
Teen Night on Friday, June 7th from 9pm to 11pm. Check the website and Facebook for more details!
We appreciate your continued support of our swim club and are excited to get the season started on

Arcadia Swim Club Membership Update 5/25/2024

​

Dear Pool Members,

Thank you for your patience as we work through the mechanical issues with the pool pumps.  While we hoped to open this Tuesday, the repairs have taken longer than anticipated.  We realize this is disappointing, and we apologize again for the inconvenience.  The work is currently scheduled for completion early this coming week, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the pool on Saturday, June 1st at 10am.

Due to this delay, we plan to remain open for two additional weekends in September beyond Labor Day (weather permitting).

​

As the season gets underway, we are excited to have a number of fun events on the calendar including monthly teen nights, food trucks, theme nights, and more.   The details will be posted soon, and we hope you and your family will make plans to attend!

Thank you for your support of our swim club.  Our staff and board have worked hard to get the pool ready, and we are looking forward to a wonderful 2024 season!

Arcadia Swim Club Members:

We regret to inform you that we will not be able to open Saturday May 25, 2024 as planned. We have experienced unforseen mechanical failures and have been working diligently to repair. We are hopeful we will be able to open Tuesday May 28, 2024 at 4pm. We apologize for this inconvenience and greatly appreciate your patience.
